Back when I started working on my English degree at U of C in the fall of 1986, if you had told me this would happen thirty years later, or at any other time for that matter, I never would have believed it. I’m honoured to be in such good company here. Thank you to Aritha van Herk!
In other news, I’m revising, revising, revising my new novel manuscript, planning to be done this phase before I head for the Canadian Writers’ Summit in Toronto next month. I understand there will be one or two other Albertans in attendance. Should be a good time.
Also looking forward to the Writers’ Guild of Alberta annual conference this weekend at SAIT. Good to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
And tonight, it’s Four Writers, One Goal at Owl’s Nest Books with Lee Kvern, Betty Jane Hegerat, Barb Howard and Tyler Perry. Great group of writers, and I’m sure we’ll have an interesting discussion.
Over and out for now.
