The weather looks great for this weekend and I’m looking forward to heading out to Medicine Hat on Saturday. I’ll be leading a free writing workshop in the Honor Currie Room at Medicine Hat Public Library from 1 – 3:30 PM. So Medicine Hat and area writers, come on out! Lots on offer for arts and culture around the province this weekend and I’m going to enjoy being part of it.
Getting ready for the start of the school year at Mount Royal University, where my Creative Writing courses for the Continuing Education department start tomorrow night. Looking forward to meeting the new group of students — we always get a really interesting variety of people.
Coming up on Saturday, September 26th, I’m participating in Alberta Culture Days by giving a writing workshop at Medicine Hat Public Library. We’ll go from 1:00 – 3:30 PM; the Library is located at 414 1st St. SE. Scroll down to page 10 for details in the program guide. I haven’t visited Medicine Hat in 20 years or so, so I think it’s high time to return.
In the meantime, continuing to work on my new novel. Fall looks busy as usual!
