Motivation can be a problem for writers. Staying on track and meeting goals can also be challenging. If you’re one of these writers, check out my friend Suzanne Harris’s website, here. Suzanne helps writers to get on track and stay on track. As well, she is the creator of Olivewood & Laurel writing retreats in Kardamyli, Greece. Sounds so renewing and refreshing!
We all need a little help from time to time. Suzanne can tailor something personal for you, and you’ll be on your way again!
On Tuesday, May 12th at 7 PM, I will be on a discussion panel as part of the Marda Loop Communities Association’s 2015 Fireside Chat Series. Looking forward to talking about the creative process with Cheryl Foggo and Garry Ryan. Come and join us for some wine, cheese and interesting chat.
Also coming up, on Wednesday, May 27th, is the wrap up reading for the Alexandra Writers mentorship program. Since the beginning of February I have had the pleasure of helping out Tyler Hellard with a novel he’s working on, and there will be three other apprentices reading from their work as well. Things get started at 7 at Owl’s Nest Books.
And on May 30th I’ll be presenting at the Alberta Association of Library Technicians conference in Canmore. Library people are some of the best people to hang around with, if you ask me, and I’m looking forward to doing the presenation.
Over and out for now!
