Thanks to ed Dymphny Dronyk at House of Blue Skies for posting my poem “Nose Hill Concerto” as part of the RE:act Project! The poems about Calgary at the site are varied and fun, and I’m very happy to be part of it.
What else has been going on? I’ve been up to Edmonton for the wrap-up of the WGA mentorship program, a most excellent event at Audrey’s Books. I’m almost halfway through my residency at AWCS already (wow!). Reading a wide variety of work and talking to a wide variety of writers. This week we have the What Alice Munro Means to Me as a Writer panel at Memorial Park Library Thursday at 7, featuring myself, Lee Kvern and Barb Howard. Saturday it’s my Short-Short Bootcamp workshop at AWCS. And consults, those, too.
Well, back to work, right?
